San Antonio Spurs

Though the first two games of the Western Conference Finals were decided by just 8 & 9 points respectively, the truth is that the Spurs have more thoroughly outplayed the Jazz thus far. With those two SU & ATS wins, San Antonio is now on a 10-2 SU & 9-2-1 ATS run during the playoffs. The three point shooting has a lot to do with it, as the Spurs have shot better than 31% from behind the arc in every playoff contest. One other trend of note to remember, San Antonio is now 19-6 ATS versus the Northwest Division this year.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers have been on a roll lately when taking to the road, particularly against winning teams. In fact, including Monday's 79-76 Game 1 loss but ATS win, Cleveland is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 road games versus teams with a winning record. Also make note that Cleveland is now a favorable 10-6-1 ATS versus Central Division opponents this season. However, Cleveland's offense has hit a road block of late, as it hasn't shot better than 50% from the field in any game since April 14th.

Detroit Pistons

With the Eastern Conference Finals slated to switch venues following Thursday's Game 2 in Detroit, there are some significant trends to consider surrounding the Pistons and their home/road performance. Including the Game
1 ATS loss, Detroit is just 18-28 ATS at home this year, and 31-14-1 ATS on the road. Th Pistons are particularly strong as a road underdog, having covered 15 of 20 games in that scenario this season. They figure to be the underdog in the Sunday & Tuesday games in Cleveland.

Utah Jazz

Having been dominated by the Spurs in the first two games of the Western Conference Finals, the Jazz are hoping that the switch of venue for Games 3 & 4 on Friday and Monday can turn the series around. It could too, since Utah is 37-10 overall at home this season, and 6-0 SU & 5-0-1 ATS at home in the playoffs so far. As the series switches, keep in mind some sigficant OVER the Total patterns that have developed with the Jazz as well. In their last eight games, they are 6-2 OVER the Total, and in their last seven have allowed 107.8 PPG.
